Sharing AP Perspectives Practice in Treatment and Management of Patients with Desmoid Tumor
Desmoid tumors are rare, locally aggressive, nonmetastatic mesenchymal growths known for their slow progression, high rates of recurrence, and unpredictable clinical course. During this JADPRO Best Practices Summit, moderator Tammy Triglianos, DNP, ANP-BC, AOCNP®, of UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, Chapel Hill, and the fourteen other advanced practitioners (APs) in attendance discussed their real-world experiences to address barriers and provide insight into the ideal state of care for patients with these noncancerous masses.
